I am a Maritime Consultant and a retired Merchant Mariner. I Started this rare service in 2007. I will assist with all credentials this includes any ratings you may qualify for and assistance with employment. I will act as a third party on your behalf to obtain all credentials and employment including all federal entities and employing Maritime Companies. I have a 100% success rate in assisting motivated people.
Although nothing is free this is an opportunity that anyone can obtain with a little saved money, or a low credit card! What it really requires is motivation and following instructions.
I will walk you through this process one on one with no delays as fast as it can possibly get done. This can also be done at your own pace. Veterans hiring preference, and prior pertaining experience is applied for the best results we can achieve. (see qualifications tab)
For this service I charge a fee of $1,500.00 My fee can be paid in full, or I will accept two installments of $750.00. Ratings may incur additional fees depending on the rating and requirements. I offer a miscellaneous Consultation fee of $450 regarding anything to do with Maritime credentialing and employment. I earn this by putting you into a life changing job. This is a very difficult occupation to obtain without any knowledge of this profession. If you want to succeed in obtaining a career in the U.S. Merchant Marine use this service for positive results.
My fees can be paid through PayPal. I consider PayPal a reference to the integrity of this service and has been my pay source for 21 years.
**In addition to my consultant fee**
In addition to my Consultant Service fee, there are fees to obtain your Maritime credentials. These fees are paid by you, at your own pace as you go through this process.
Maritime Credential Fees for International Sailors
U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential Processing Fee = $140.00
Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)= $125.00
U.S. Passport = $195.00
DOT Drug and Physical = approximately $180.00
STCW95 Basic Training Course (5 Day) is OPTIONAL BUT RECCOMENDED = $850 to $1,200.00 depending on what school you use. I will get into more depth on this training when we speak. Some companies pay/ offer this safety training, and some don't.
Total Fees for ENTRY-LEVEL Credentials = Without training including Consultant fee approximately $2300.00 Be prepared to do the training unless we are going for the Dept. of War positions and a handfull of entities that offer the training when hired. We will figure out what's best for you..
If you qualify for a rating from previous shipboard experience either from your service or some other entity, I will consult you and we will obtain the best results according to your situation. I always recommend going for the rating unless your funds are very tight in that case I may advise take an entry level position to build some bank so you can pay for the classes associated with such rating. Unfortunately the GI bills does not help with any of training requirements for rating. I have tried to change that.
